I had a great stay but there could be a second microwave. Also the shared room I was in only had two plugs in very inconvenient places and there's not much privacy in the room as the beds were so close (not bunks)

It was a wonderful spot in Grindelwald. It’s close to everything! The rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was decent as well.

An excellent place to stay in Grindelwald. Great for solo travelers and families alike.
The common areas are spacious and well maintained and the complimentary breakfast was way better than it had any right to be.
In particular the staff stood out to me. Over the course of my stay 3 different staff members helped me plan around poor weather and did so with kindness and patience. Eiger Lodge has some of the friendliest hostel staff I’ve met in a long while!
