Rio Elemento Ecolodge is a large villa next to Minca's main river, a little downstream from the famous 'Pozo Azul' waterfalls. It's a 5 minute walk to the center of town where most restaurants, coffee shops, bars and transport offices are located. Perched at the top of 2 hectares of tropical gardens the Villa boasts a 30 meter swimming pool, bar, restaurant, giant hammocks, WiFi, poolside sunbathing and yoga deck, hot showers, en-suite dorms, mountain biking, hiking, pool and Spanish and English speaking staff.

One of my favorite hostels of all time. Clean, beautiful, nice location and awesome atmosphere.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in! Such a beautiful location, great bar area and social helpful staff. Both free events were cancelled for our stay which was disappointing such as coffee scrub and sunset walk due to low staff but sweet touches such as marshmallows over the fire near the bar and info on all other tours were great. Gorgeous private secret spot walk to river was a wonderful surprise alternative to the popular waterfalls of Minca. Highly recommend.

Overall really nice. The property is beautiful, good location, great space to chill. However, we stayed in the Deluxe Double Bed Private Ensuite and the bed was rock hard.
