Very bad experience, the room was dirty and full of mosquitoes. They were burning mosquito coils during the night and when I complained about it they did nothing. The girl in the reception was rude with me and she refused to call a taxi the day I was checking out. Also be aware from bed bugs, I had several bites.

Lovely hotel, pool wasn’t the cleanest but didn’t really care as it was so hot, pool area itself was very pretty. If you have the extra 5$ a night for air con get it, we got a fan- it did nothing it was sweltering, 3 nights no sleep, just sweat.
Staff were helpful, place was clean (minus a big mushroom growing out the wall in our room lol(??) we called it Martin. Location was a small walk out of town nothing too far, decent food. Overall really enjoyed our time there despite the lack of sleep

We booked the room on Hostel World that advertised both a fan and AC in the room. When we arrived we were told we did not pay for this and would have to pay an additional $5 a night for the AC. We did as the room with just the fan smelt of cigarettes and was really stuffy.
Room was a good size but needed a bit of a revamp as it looked old. The pool/shared area was good but needed some maintenance. You get what you pay for, I guess.
Hostel was a little far out but was easy to order a tuktuk from the hote
