Located on the south side of Isla del Sol in Yumani community, Hostal de Sol offers accommodations in Isla del Sol. Breakfast is included, and may be taken in the room. At Hostal del Sol guests will find a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk, a garden and a terrace. Wi-Fi is mainly available in common areas. Hostal del Sol is located on Isla del Sol island, which is off the coast of Copacabana. Boat ride to the island takes about 2 hours, and the city of La Paz is located approximately a 3 hour drive from Copacabana. Once on the island, guests are encouraged to walk and discover the ruins, there is a 40 minute walk from the hotel to Templo del Sol archaeological ruins. The property is a 5-minute walk on the way to Mirador (view point) where guests can start trekking to the north side of the island.
Rooms here are fitted with a private / Shared bathroom and shower, a desk, bed linen and a magnificent view of Lake Titicaca.

nice small hostel on Isla del sol. The owner is very friendly and the rooms are decently clean

It was nice for a night or two! The breakfast was extensive - eggs, bread, tea/coffee, yogurt. I did find it difficult to find the staff - there never seemed to be anyone around but the room was clean and the bed was comfy with tones of blankets to keep you warm at night. The hike up from the port is quite a climb but once you’re at the top it’s nice!

Lovely hostel that does feel like a homestay. There is a big variety in room types so we had to ask and switch rooms twice to get a room with a shower that we booked. The breakfast was good and the views are unbeatable. The location is quite far from the boat drop off point compared to other hostels, but it is ideally located when you want to explore the northern (and most beautiful) side of the island by foot.
