Bern Youth Hostel is worthy of a capital city. Situated in a listed building and with a view of the Aare loop, the ultra-modern redesign brought a bright extension with seminar rooms and a garden seating area. As before, you are able to plan activities over lunch or under the trees, including a visit to the square in front of the Federal Parliament Building with its 26 water fountains, the bear park, the Paul Klee centre, the Einstein House or the arcades in the historic old town. And don't miss out on the excitement of swimming in the River Aare or biking on the Gurten mountain!

One of the worst hostels I have ever been! Firstly, pros: the location is okey easy to reach close to the center. Breakfast is included and it was okey. However its all. The cons have much more. The wifi doesnt work in the rooms, only in the lobby. Toilets and bathrooms arent clean and only 2 bathroom for 40 people in the corridor, so it was not that easy to find it empty. No atmosphere if you wanna socialize just dont go. Price is too expensive even as in compaire with Swiss standards.

It’s very family friendly hostel, the overall atmosphere was very quiet. I really appreciate the free breakfast in a very nice dining area every morning.

Lovely hostel with people of all ages and families living too, the location is great, you get a travel ticket for free and I also recommend getting the dinner menu at the hostel as well
