As far as the accommodation is concerned, Montarina offers you three different room categories: Backpackers-rooms (hostel rooms), Hotel Antique-rooms (historic rooms with running water) and Hotel Comfort-rooms (hotel rooms with bath and all modern facilities).
The Hotel & Hotel Montarina is open all year round and offers you a daily breakfast-service for CHF 18.- / per person.
During the summer you will enjoy the beautiful outdoor swimming-pool in our palm-park.

In general it was ok! Close to the train station, there is a swimming pool which is also nice. There are lockers just outside the rooms which looked safe. However the room of 20 ppl is so small so that they put beds too close to each others. So no privacy, I felt like i am sleeping with the guy just half meter near to me. Not cool at all!

Nice hostel with good location and great amenities. Only issue was the lack of plug sockets. No way to charge devices in the dorm room. Good place to stay for a night as steps away from train station

This hostel is part of a hotel which is why you have amenities I never had at any other hostel: Access to a swimming pool, one of the best hotel breakfasts I ever experienced (for 15CHF), and a large property with palm trees on it. Also, free public transport! It's conveniently located super close to the train station. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
However, I didn't experience much of a hostel atmosphere. Maybe because my 16-bed dorm was barely occupied.
