Hostelworld guests have had high praise for Absolute Paris, saying it’s ‘good for people who want to travel and experience Paris’; it’s set in a great spot for getting around Paris on foot or by metro as it’s very near the five metro lines at Place de la Republique and is only 15 minutes’ walk from the Hotel de Ville. One visitor told us ‘The environment is always friendly and up beat and the bar downstairs was great for pre drinks or a nightcap’. It’s no wonder so many guests say they’d stay here again!

The Absolute hostel has an excellent location - the best in Paris - right behind Republique Square, with five different metro lines bringing you directly to the main sites, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower , Notre-Dame and more.
All rooms are ensuite with a toilet and shower in each. Rates include sheets, hot showers day or night and free local and national calls. Towels are available to rent for €1. We now have new free safety deposit boxes at reception too!!
There’s free Internet access as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the entire hostel.
We also serve a delicious free breakfast of croissants, orange juice, cereals, teas and coffee.
Reception is open 24hrs and offers free maps and information, with no curfew or lockout.
From here it’s just 15 minutes’ walk to Gare du Nord, The Pompidou Museum, The Marais, Hôtel de Ville, Grand boulevards, Oberkampf street (to go out in the night) and the Bastille.
Ideally located next to the Canal St Martin, you'll see that the Absolute is a very good place to reach all the main attractions easily. And the Absolute team will welcome you with pleasure!

In addition anyone over the age of 18 staying at Absolute Hostel Paris will be charged a City Tax up to a maximum of €2.88 per person per night. This will be payable at check –in.

These hotel accommodations were not sufficient and I would not stay here again. The bathrooms were not clean, the shower was incredibly small and did not have hot water. I considered leaving but they did not offer a refund for the future nights.

Simple clean and absolutely no frills place. Stair carpet has seen better days . Convenient location. If windows open quite noisy traffic outside our room, it was cold enough to shut the windows though and so it was quiet enough to sleep. Staff friendly and helpful. Near several metro stations. Gluten free cafe round the corner did a great breakfast. Front door shelters shyly between the tables of the bar next door...look out for the bamboos in pots and go in there.
