Alamer Hostel 2 is a small hostel on the Red Sea beach near the city center. We offer private rooms, shared rooms and family rooms with direct sea view.
The location is very nice there is a restaurant of the hotel with great sea view. Cafes, restaurants and a supermarket are on site. You will find everything you need just meters away. We offer diving, swimming and Wadi Rum trips.
The hostel is only ten minutes walk from the city center and five minutes on the castle of Aqaba.

Check in from 13:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 12:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included - 3 JOD per person per day.

This place has an amazing atmosphere, and it's all due to Sari who puts his heart and soul into this hostel. I felt like the other people at the hostel were my little family for the few days that I stayed there.
If you're super into creature comforts, this might not be the place for you. The hostel is only partially air-conditioned, the showers are near the toilets, etc. But that small stuff was totally worth it for the friendly, open vibe.

DO NOT STAY HERE!
As an easy going 28yr old solo male traveller, even this was pushing it. Didn’t get the room I booked, when I asked I was told no rooms have an ensuite. And the host argued with me about moving hostels.
MUSIC blaring full volume until 4am, then starting again at 7am. Windows don’t close properly, have no seals. Air conditioning spitting greasy fluff balls all over me all night. Showers filthy and put together as an after thought for men.
Do yourself a favour, don’t book here
