Located along Jalan Bohor Tempoyak, Vila Thai is conveniently within a 10-minute walk to the famous Pantai Cenang. Common area where you can enjoy and meet people is provided. Our fan dormitory come with shared bathroom offering shower facility. Vila Thai features a spa and wellness centre, where guests can indulge in a pampering massage. Guests may also rent a car to explore the area and visit nearby attractions. For food, a tasty selection of Thai and local Halal food is served at the restaurant within a few minutes’ walk away.
Vila Thai is opposite Thursday night market. There will be a lot of food stalls on that day. We are also opposite Cenang Muay Thai Gym. There is also a small road opposite our place that will easily get you to the beach within few minutes walk.
Types on dormitory; 16 beds fan dorm (downstairs) & 10 beds rooftop fan dorm which our guests will be able to enjoy the view from here.

Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival.
Check in from 2:00.
Check out before 12:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash only.

I had a very bad night in this hostel. I got bitten several times and I think they were bedbugs. The mattresses were dirty and the fan didn't work. One of the guys in my dorm came back and found somebody in his bed. The room is too hot at night for sleeping. The location was bad, far from everything. I will not stay again in this hostel and I advice other people to avoid this hostel.

It was suppose to have a private room.listed at a smaller price, which I booked, but when I arrived, I've been informed that the room isn't available (it's still in renovation), and website should have announce me. I paid ~20 RM more for another private room which was available in that day.
I don't know if it's the owner's fault or website's fault, but do not trust the listed available rooms, 'cause you might have some very unpleasant surprises.
I do not recommend!!! 👎

I stayed at Vila Thai from 4th to 7th December 2022. Unfortunately, I came away with what seem to be insect bites on my back, arms and legs. This may be due to the hosts having a cat, and I sat on a chair that shed hair onto my clothing. Or it may have been bed bugs.
Very unfortunate and I'm still itching 5 days later.
It's a very cheap place to stay, not a long walk from the beaches, but there's competition nearby at similar prices.
