Welcome to the Jaffa Gate Hostel. See the most beautiful view from our roof top! We are centrally located and just 5 minutes walking from all the religious places of interest, post office & 10 minutes from the new city (night life)!!!!

No curfew!!! Guests will really enjoy our homely atmosphere! We offer dormitories and private rooms. Showers and toilets inside the rooms as well as AC, TV satellite, fridge and Internet facilities in most private rooms.
Our Hostel is very clean and extremely safe. Guests can avail of a free kitchen (E.Kettle & Microwave and a Fridge), luggage storage!!!!
DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR OUR GREAT GUIDED TOURS ! ! !
Please note that there is a 17% VAT for Local citizens. This tax is not included in the total price.

The male dorm is very dark and has no natural light or ventilation
This meant that a fan was used which was noisy and blowing in my direction making it difficult to sleep.
Beds did not appear to have any sheets or duvets .
Good location near Jaffa gate .
It did not have much social atmosphere

Pros: great location, the view from the roof is beautiful, easy access, clean, affordable.
Cons: room 13 (yes, the extra private room on the first floor is numbered 13), very very basic amenities, shower with no curtain which sprayed water all over the tiny shower/toilet room every time I showered, no air con, two windows with great breeze but then you get to hear all the chitchat on the balcony. All in all, I found the place hilarious, a kind of India type hostel but in Jerus.

The best hotel Ive ever stayed at. The vibe is immaculate it feels like you’ve entered a whole new world because of the infrastructure. my favorite part was the rooftop where you can see the entire Jerusalem city and they have pillows you can just lay and enjoy the sunset and sunrise or night view. the staff were amazing and helped us find the cheapest rides and food, they’ were the perfect tour guides.
