Absolutely phenomenal experience! Stayed in a private room with A/C and my own bathroom; somehow I managed to sleep 8 hours undisturbed which I’ve never done in a hostel before. Staff, especially Francesca, were great and extremely helpful. The grounds are beautiful and although it wasn’t very crowded, all of the other guests were great; I even met someone special and we went on to Boca Chica together from here. ¡Gracias un millón!

This hostal is very clean. The kitchen is always clean. Franchesca and Peter are so nice. Franchesca is knowledgeable about places and things to do around the area. But just being able to use a clean kitchen in a hostal is my biggest thing. It is 2 blocks from the main strip of shops and stores. I will stay here the next time I come back
Only bad thing is the bed. You can feel the planks through the mattress. It's not bad but could use a solid piece of wood under
