Cheap Sleep is an authentic hostel just opened in 2012. Totally renovated with free wifi to all rooms, you'll find Cheap Sleep Helsinki a great place to get some sleep and meet interesting fellow travelers passing through Helsinki.
A large common room is a key to what makes Cheap Sleep a fun, relaxed and social place to stay. Our hostel has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area next to the common room, plus there's a supermarket on-site.
Accommodation Information:
We offer a mix of dorms and private rooms including Double, Double Ensuite, Twin, Triple and family room. We have 218 dorm beds split between 14 rooms, with the smallest being 4-beds and the largest 26-beds.
Each bed has an electrical outlet and reading light. Our rooms have views of Vallila's historic wooden house district.
Our reception is open 24/7 so you can feel free to check-in any time.
Towels and slippers are available from reception with additional charges.
Any guest staying over 17 days in a 30 day period requires the prior written permission of management.

It was good apart from distance to city centre. As a student we didn’t want to spend money for transport but we had to. The hostel is very friendly and has breakfast :) the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Hostelin cok yakinindaki otobus duragindan sehir merkezine ulasim cok kolay ve yaklasik 15dk suruyor.
Dormitory odalarin kucuk olmasina ragmen ortak kullanim alani oldukca genis, ferah ve kullanisli.

Its such a huge hostel built over 3 floors with all the facilities. It got a fully functional kitchen with many utensils and appliances, there is a big lounge area on each floor with travel guides, board games, money exchange machines, game machines and more. Even the rooms are spacious. I stayed in 18 bed dorm, which is broken into smaller sections, so you still feel like to be in a 4 bed dorm. Bathrooms are very clean too. Tram and bus station are right outside. Highly recommended.
