La Comarca Hostel

The hostel is pretty average, not bad but could definitely be better. The kitchen and the dining area are very small and crowded. The beds are very unstable, the lockers in the room are mostly broken. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel is very close to the bus terminal, which is nice.

Good location near the bus stop and easily walkable to bars and trailheads. Good atmosphere due to fellow guests. Facilities were very basic, wifi was useless, insufficient places for everyone in the hostel to comfortably cook and sit in the evening. Distinct drainage and mouldy smell in the toilets and bathrooms. No soap in the bathroom for 4 days of our stay, when requested diswash liquid was provided as a interim. Shower curtains were falling apart minimising privacy in communal mixed sex bathrooms. minimal lockable storage (not big enough to fit a bag and no explanation of this storage given at check-in - might cost money, not sure as didn’t use it just kept our valuable in our person). Given these reasons we think it is overpriced for what you get

The room smelled like mold/mildew. So did the bathroom upstairs. No breakfast I clases unlike most of the other hostels and the location isn’t the best. It’s very far from the trail heads
