Gilligan’s accommodation is located in the city centre and offers spacious, air-conditioned, en-suite rooms in dorm-style accommodation or private hotel rooms.
Facilities include free linen, free Wi-Fi, free luggage storage, pool tables, powder room, fitness room and four brand new 'state of the art' communal kitchens, fully equipped for you to prepare all your meals. We have a huge swimming pool so you can chill-out with friends at a safe distance or keep fit and active while spending time here in Cairns.
The health and safety of all staff, guests and patrons remains paramount at Gilligan’s. Management encourages everyone to take Social Distancing and personal hygiene seriously and to immediately action the Australian governments and Health Officials warnings and directions surrounding COVID19.
Gilligan's prides itself on providing a clean and safe environment and continues to be a wonderful experience for travellers. We welcome all guests with virtual open arms.
Please note bookings of 4 or more guests are subject to different terms and conditions and we cannot guarantee to place all group bookings in the same room.

It is a good place. Party hostel. be prepared about what you sign up for. professional. yet I moved on to Summer house and liked it more. Summer house also has better discounts about the tours. wish I had known earlier

Good social hostel for nightlife, good kitchen facilities and nice common area on each floor level with a TV. But, me and my friend woke up with severe bed bug bites after sleeping in the beds and all the bed sheets were stained, so cleanliness was poor overall in the rooms.
