Great little hostel on the edge of town, very clear to see the northern lights. Staff was very friendly, easy to find, and directions to enter were easy to follow. We had a car so it was easy to get to. Only spent one night before flying out the next day.

Blue House was a charming B&B and the staff were so supportive with every query we had. Location wise, it was a little out of the way from Reykjavik city centre but if you have a car it's absolutely fine. There is even space to park.
The one negative I would report is that the shared bathroom shower kept leaking after use. Could have been our neighbours being messy but worth being mindful of. The kitchen hobs were also very very slow to get to temperature so make sure you factor in coffee time!

All went well. Self check-in worked fine and the place was super warm and clean. The neighborhood is quite nice.
