Halse Lodge YHA is Noosa's closest hostel to famous Noosa main beach and Noosa National Park.
There are so many things to do, including the Australia Zoo, surf lessons, kayaking, Fraser Island tours, Eumundi Markets, Skydiving, and the unique Noosa Everglades. Noosa is the place to go to visit the beach, with the beautiful National Park only minutes away. Keep an eye out for koalas, whales, turtles, dolphins, stingrays and much more as you stroll along the coastal track.
We have plenty of comfortable and very clean dorms, twins and doubles. Please note that as we are heavily booked most of the year, we cannot guarantee dorm size and you may be in a 4, 5, 6 bed dorm or our beautiful and spacious 16 share Rainforest Building. Groups may need to be split if necessary.
Free WiFi available in common areas.
The superb building is a restored 1880's National Trust and Heritage Listed guest house set on 2 acres of lawns, gardens and rainforest. This is the place to relax; it is a 'home away from home'. Halse Lodge is the perfect place to make lifelong friends, chat with the locals and spend your days working on your tan and cooling off in the turquoise blue waters!

Really nice hostel, set in a lovely environment. Staff were super welcoming on arrival.
Chilled atmosphere but there were activities put on by the hostel which helped make it more social. Perfect hostel to relax and I felt very comfortable as a solo traveller.
Only negative was the noise. It’s an old building and there is very little noise insulation. Hostel provides earplugs which is a nice touch.
Would stay again; amazing location to get to the beach and National park.

Loved this hostel, the lodge was lovely and relaxed. No A/C in rooms but this wasn’t an issue, there was a ceiling fan. Lots of areas to sit around with sofas, TV, table tennis, even a piano. Different activities like yoga, walks, BBQ, free pancakes on Sundays! It seemed very relaxed, not super busy — but we stayed off-peak season. 2 minutes away from Noosa main beach. Would definitely stay again!

Best location. Best value for money. Tends to attract a pretty respectful cool bunch of people.
