The entrance of the hostel was spooky and hard to find.
The bedrooms were nice, the bed was comfortable and we had a private bathroom (which was nice), but our bedroom window (to the living room) didn’t lock, which made me feel uncomfortable to leave valuable stuff in the room.
The host was nice and helpful, and even gave us a fan because of the heat.
The property didn’t had a fridge, but for us the biggest problem was the cockroaches 🪳We had multiple walking around our room, which was awful

Mohammed is the most helpful host I’ve ever had at a hostel. He cooked a yum breakfast and went above and beyond, even going so far as to help me repair my broken shoes!
The hostel itself is in an excellent location, a 10 minute walk from the blue gate. The hostel has a small social area in the middle and on the whole is fairly cramped with the private rooms having particularly little airflow.
Be aware that despite this place advertising AC it does NOT have AC. We did borrow a fan.

Mohammed was such a brilliant host - welcoming, kind, & very helpful. Located a 10 minute walk to the main 'blue gate' of the Medina, the rooms are set around a middle area that's nice for chilling out in, however lacking in airflow! It was VERY hot, & at night too, although I did stay in August... Any other time of year, this would be fine. Would recommend as a good base for exploring.
