Our lively backpacker's bar, equipped with cocktails on tap, is the perfect spot to meet fellow travelers with whom you will be able to enjoy our unique river tubing and Semuc Champey tours.
We offer a variety of options for all travelers on different budgets. From dorms with comfortable beds, beautiful jungle views, and shared hot showers to semi-private options for couples on a budget to private rooms that vary from standard to deluxe.
Zephyr Lodge - Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 16:00 to 22:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit & debit cards. We have a 10% surcharge for debit or credit card payments.
This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival.
Taxes included
Breakfast not included.
Reception hours 07:00 - 22:00.
Due to the party hostel concept, we do not accept people under 18 years of age.
We have a licensed Bar & Restaurant onsite, for this reason we do not allow outside food or beverages to be brought into the Hostel.

Social hostel in a beautiful location, and a short walk to Lanquin. Welcome beer on arrival which was a nice touch. Overall enjoyed my stay here, however it was slightly over priced in my opinion. No hot water for showers, a fee for towels, and food and drink was not the cheapest. Staff were very friendly and outgoing.
Wasn't a fan of surrending my passport and paying for the whole bill upon check out.

The actual hostel and room was gorgeous and atmosphere was great. However, it felt like a big money grab as we couldn’t bring any of our own food in. It also is super isolated and there is nothing else to do there except semuc champney. the big problem was that on my last night, i got horribly sick. i thought maybe this is a one off but i spoke to others from the hostel and they felt super sick as well. not sure if it was from the water filter or their food but quite a few people got sick.

Obviously the pool area and view are beautiful here! The staff were also really friendly and helpful when I was sick during my time here which I appreciated.
Unfortunately the food here really disappointed us. There’s no kitchen so you cant cook your own food and the Hostel is very isolated so you can’t even go to other restaurants. The food was so hit or miss and it was expensive. We found the dinners to be especially bad.
