Munay Backpacker Hostel

Munay has a unique cultural vibe in Montañita that will make you feel immediately at home!

We have a perfect location right in the center of Montañita, meaning 100 meters away from the beach and every kind of food and drink available in less than 2 minutes by walking.

Here you will find many activities to enjoy with friends from all over the world, such as pool table, darts, beer pong, playstation, table games…
And if you just wanna chill in the sofas or watching TV from the hammocks, we have a 50” TV in the common area with Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and we also diffuse sport events through ESPN.

Munay is the only artist hostel in Montañita, where you are able to discover our music production studio in which you can chill on the sofa while listening and sharing with the artists producing and mixing in the hostel.

Of course we also have the bar, with the cheapest beers and shots in Montañita.
Don’t forget to try our signature cocktail, the delicious Crazy Munay!

You also have access to our shared kitchen, equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave, blender, toaster and barbecue.

Regarding the accommodation, all our rooms (private & dorms) are equipped with comfortable beds, AC, and private bathrooms with hot showers.
There is strong wifi in the whole hostel.

Last but not least, if you came all this way to Montañita you are certainly looking for parties… And so do we! Every monday, we organize an open bar at the hostel with live DJ sets until 2am before going to the club.
For every other day, don’t worry we know all the good spots for partying!
