Easily the best place I stayed whilst backpacking. Communal kitchens were great, lovely atmosphere among guests, excellent pizza place nearby, helpful staff, supermarket just next door, privacy curtains on each of the beds, sockets and storage on each bed, and *genuinely* female-only dorms. Only downside was the distance from Milan centre, but there's excellent public transport (although the walk/from to the metro with my large backpack was difficult) and the value for money more than makes up for this. The hostel was lovely, very clean and calm, and they patiently waited up for us even though we arrived very late. I read reviews before about how well connected this was, despite being out of town, via a tram system so I had no concerns. However, this tram was extremely run down, isolated and felt very unsafe to be on. As 2 18 year old girls travelling alone, we had to buy an expensive uber to the hostel multiple times when we felt so unsafe at the tram. None of this reflects on the hostel, but we would recommend if you are young female travellers, and donâ€™t have a car, this hostel isnâ€™t for you.
