The Only Cafe and Backpacker is housed in in Jiefangbei, Yuzhong District, Chongqing City. We are located in the heart of Chongqing City. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Monument of People's Liberation. The nearest Metro Station Jiao Chang Kou is 100 meters away, It only takes 2 minutes to walk, and the nearest airport bus and high-speed railway bus station only takes 5 minutes to walk. We are on the top floor of a high building, the coffee shop With great view on the 33rd floor .Downstairs is food street, hot pot shop around, and Chongqing's most famous small noodles shop (flower market wan za noodles), opened for decades Shancheng Mutton House and so on. It only takes a few minutes to walk from Chongqing's most famous place Luohan Temple, Hongya Cave and the Shi Ba Ti.
The Blue and White Porcelain style will leave you a special impression and remind you of ancient and modern China.
Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee in the cafe or have some drinks at the bar. Doing some reading in the mini library is also a good choice.
The setup is a little unusual: it has a coffee shop on the top, so the place is well-lighted and well-ventilated, On a sunny afternoon open a book would be really comfortable. sitting on our 20 meters long balcony enjoy rainy day would be a great idea.
Each dorm is fitted with clean bedding. Rooms are comfortable with everything you'd expect and the beds are decent.
We have a big and comfortable seating area with a decently stocked bar. The place is decked out in some beautiful repaired antique furniture, some of which even can date back to the Qing dynasty. And many painting are dotted around the walls. The whole thing looks fantastic and we would like to share the stories behind it with you. We will give free welcome coffee to our each guess.

It’s a great place with small hangout area and open air seating if the weather permits. Free tea and coffee (self service) is provided in the cafe area too. Location is good in Yuzhong with plenty of food options downstairs and within walking distance to shopping & tourist areas. But the lobby area may sometimes be filled with rubbish and you have to wait for the lift up to the high levels. Beds are nice with curtains for blocking light sources. First and foremost, I would highly recommend this property to my friends if the come to Chongqing. All the staff there are nice and friendly. Will, the owner, went the extra miles by welcoming me to his property around 01:00. He has been very helpful and patient in browsing with me his ‘SOP’ which consists of tourists’ attractions and ‘must try’ delicacies in Chongqing. As a results I was able to complete my itinerary smoothly and with great satisfaction. If I come back to Chongqing again, this property would be my first choice.

These guys were so friendly and helpful, with good knowledge of the city. Not just good people but new friends. The best coffee this side of Vietnam, laundry service for 10 yuan, good showers and towels for rent. The 31st floor offers great views, and a rooftop view above the 33rd floor kitchen.
