Hidden Haven

Set in 15 acres of jungle, this secluded hostel Hidden Haven is only a quarter of a mile from the Western Highway and equal distance, 11 miles between Belmopan (the Capital) and San Ignacio. We have just installed a 40ft x 20ft salt water swimming pool as you can see in the photos the area around the pool is just being completed but pleased to say the pool is now open. You will wake up to the sounds of Toucans, Parrots, Brown Jays, Social Fly Catchers etc. and see but not hear the Humming Birds . We offer breakfast daily lunch and dinner. We have a cafe/restaurant right next to the pool so you do not have to leave the property food and refreshments will be available daily here!

Unitedville is centrally located and there are Mayan ruins both in Unitedville and Blackman Eddy, a half mile away. We are near to Spanish Lookout, where the 'modern' Mennonites are located, and the traditional Mennonites are also nearby in Lower Barton.

If you are looking for something, that is not on any tours, there is Aquate Lagoon, which is just pass Spanish Lookout, where you might see Howler Monkeys and Crocodiles. There is also a world famous butterfly farm nearby. Busses pass on Western Highway every 15 minutes, in both directions.We are centrally located in Cayo, and close to the world famous ATM (Actun Tunichil Muknal).

Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival.

Check out before 11:00.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards (CC payment there is 3.5% charge).
This property may pre-authorise your card before arrival.

Taxes not included - 9.00% will be added.
Breakfast not included - available for 6.50 USD per person per day. Also lunch and dinner now available on site in our new restaurant!
