Our hostel is right next to Trastevere old town, consistently rated one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Rome and just across the river from Rome’s most iconic sights.
We have a nice garden and a terrace, our rooms and dormitories have air-conditioned and free WiFi.

My sheets and covers smelled disgusting and maybe even seemed unwashed. My first covers before I switched had blood stains and chocolate stains. The bathrooms and showers both smelled bad as well. There are no lockers located inside of the dorms and no safes either. Staff was not friendly. The door to the room opened with a key and the lock seemed like it had already been broken into previously.

You get what you pay for with this one. Co-ed bathrooms were dirty with mold, showers had no privacy and the toilet seat wasn’t attached to the bowl. Half of the rooms are in a separate building with only a sketchy elevator to get up/down. Staff was nice and moved us to a different room that was much better. Overall, just pay $10 more per night and get somewhere closer to the main Trastevere neighborhood.
