My friend and I stayed here for a few nights and we loved it! It’s a bit out of the Galway city centre but the 401 bus was easy to catch and dropped us off right in front of the accommodation. Salthill is a lovely area that we may not have been to if we didn’t stay at the hostel. The only con was that the wifi was pretty disappointing, it would constantly disconnect and we had work to do on our laptops which made it very difficult. Young people, please keep in mind that this is not a party hostel and the

Stayed here as a solo woman traveller & felt extremely safe. 6 bed girls dorm was spotlessly clean, it felt more like a hotel with a few other people staying. It’s not in the city centre, it’s about a 30 minute walk but Salthill is very nice and right by the water. If you’re looking for a social hostel, it’s a bit hard to meet people as it’s a small boutique hostel and there are no common areas or events. But for a quiet, clean stay it is perfect!
