The hostel has: linens and towels of course, free wi.fi, free security lockers and free luggage storage. Our Guests can enjoy a sunny patio, full kitchen, washer and dryer and TV room. Our staff is from all over the world and can recommend activities for you and even book tours like whale watching, day trips to hidden beaches and waterfalls, snorkeling, a romantic sunset boat cruise...there is something for every budget.We now have our own roof-top bar with an amazing view of the Bay, cold beer, yummy cocktails and your favorite shots! With live streaming of music and sports.
Chanclas Hostel is only 2 blocks from the famous Malecon and the beach and easy walking distance to many bars, restaurants, night clubs and shops. And some of the BEST sunsets in the world!

Chanclas Hostel offers comfortable mixed dorms and a female-only dorm, with shared bathrooms. We also have private rooms.

Great Hostel with nice beds and clean washrooms. They also have a bar upstairs and plenty of places to hangout. Staff was pleasant and nice.
Only complaint that they don't accept Credit Card payments and ask for cash only.

I had the worst experience by coming here, i called ahead to inform i was arriving late at night 12am due to traffic, they assured me it was okay, i got at 12:20 when I called they told me they were no longer available, i asked what could I do, they just hang up and blocked me on WhatsApp.
The next day i arrived but they had cancel my reservation and no longer had room space for me... To what it was a lie because the app showed spaces... The host was rude, and not helpful at all.

Had to book something last min & didnt have cash because every OXXO was low -this is the only way I can get money. I owed them $500 MX ($26 USD), & explained the situation to the girl at the front desk. She was getting ready to go out and just completely ignored me. all she said is no you can’t come in if you don’t pay. It was12 am! she asked me to Venmo her friend and her friend can pay her tomorrow -SKETCHY. AND they had my card info. I was lucky to have a back up. NVR AGAIN.
