Shoestrings is a brightly coloured backpackers a mere five minute walk from town which makes getting around a breeze.
All the doubles and twin rooms are en-suite and linen is provided.The facilities include a lively bar, a pool and restaurant, 24 hour security, great staff, two cats and two of the most famous dogs in the world.
The staff can help you with all your Victoria Falls activity bookings as well as any onward travel you might be interested in doing.
All accommodation and activities need to be paid in foreign currency, and to make your travels easier we would advise you to travel with US$ cash.

Everything was amazing. It is the perfect place to meet new friends from other countries. The staff personnel is always trying to assist you, especially with shuttle service to/from airport. I stayed in a room that wasn’t so big, but it was comfortable. The food there is nice and the music is good. I totally recommend this place. They could only clean better the pool, because it didn’t seem that the deepest part of the pool was cleaned.

Nice place overall, good vibe, but the 6-bed dorm was so tiny it felt like a closet. There was no soap in the bathrooms and there were cockroaches in my bed, so didn’t feel especially clean there.
They also charged quite a bit for mediocre food. Maybe I was l spoiled at the hostel in Livingstone in Zambia but this place was just okay.

It was extremely pleasant to stay at Shoestrings, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the food was so good! Really good value for money!
