Our backyard attracts guests all day and night where you will find lots of mandarin and orange trees, hammocks, sofas and instruments around! We pride ourselves in being a home for backpackers, artists and travelers from all over the world. The hostel is built on the creativity of our community and you will find all sorts of artwork around the property.
We opened in 2005 as the first hostel in Albania, located in a 100 year old Italian style villa. Tirana Backpacker Hostel is located in the heart of Tirana, 500m from Skanderbeg Square and 5km from Dajti Ekspres Cable Car. The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the hostel.
Popular points of interest near Tirana Backpacker Hostel include House of Leaves, Rinia Park and Et'hem Bey Mosque. The nearest airport is Tirana International Mother Teresa Airport, 15 km from the accommodation.

Deserves every good thing that is written for them. Such a lovely hostel and a really good athmosphere.

Reception part was amazing. They were really nice. Breakfast was good, backyard was amazing. But floor of the room was very noisy and beds were not comfortable as other hostels. There were nails in bed and woods of the bunk was not secure to sleep i think. Showers and toilets must be improved.

Great spot, super friendly and helpful staff, the courtyard has a very cool vibe bringing people together. Small oasis in the middle of Tirana. Perfect location to go explore the attractions and come back for a rest. All you need is around. The district with the more fancy restaurants and bars about 1km walk!
