Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY:- A 12% non- refundable deposit is paid direct to HostelWorld. Our policy is for the balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival, or direct to us at the time of booking if this is less than 4 weeks before you arrive with us. Please ask for payment details. We reserve the right to re-let your rooms if the balance is not paid within this time frame. We do not accept cancellations made less than 4 weeks prior to arrival.
. On receipt of your deposit you will be sent a Booking Confirmation / Invoice, confirming the dates, prices, number of people booking and the units / rooms you have reserved. If you inform us in writing of any problems with your booking less than 4 weeks before your holiday start date the booking will be liable for the full balance. The deposit will be forfeit on all units booked. A cancellation fee of 30 per unit cancelled will be charged on all cancellations. The Smiddy Bunkhouse, Blacksmiths Hostel and Snowgoose Apartments can take no responsibility or accept cancellations if part of your group decides a) they don't want to come b) they can't afford to come! c) They don't like the look of the weather, no snow, too much snow, too wet, not enough water in the rivers, ice conditions not quite right! d) Their boss will not give them time off work or they decide to go paddling/climbing in Nepal instead!
Please remember, if you make a hooking on behalf of other people, you are legally responsible for the payment of the balance. The date when this balance is due will be on your Booking Confirmation / Invoice. INSURANCE: For all of the above reasons we strongly recommend that, especially if you are making a booking on behalf of others, that you take out your own cancellation Insurance. You may have to pay for a holiday, for others, which you cannot take.
We are not unreasonable and will always try to re-let cancelled accommodation and at least refund part of the costs - but please do not rely on this at any time.
Additional Terms and Conditions
THE SECURITY DEPOSIT of £ 100 per bunkhouse, hostel unit or apartment is payable on arrival (cash or cheque) and is returned to you on departure with the return of all keys. The security deposit will be retained in the event that the property is not left as you found it on arrival, any excessive cleaning or damage. OVER OCCUPANCY: We do not allow more than the stated number of occupants in any unit of the accommodation. This includes children under 5 who are not using a cot. USE OF FACILITIES: a) facilities within the accommodation is only available to persons booked with us. They are not available to other members of your group who may be staying in campsites etc, adjacent B&Bs or camper vans. b) There are no facilities for any additional parking overnight or otherwise for camper vans in any circumstances, for folks not staying with us. AGE RESTRICTIONS: We do not accept bookings from groups aged under 18yrs unless accompanied by a responsible adult in charge of the group aged 21 years in each unit occupied. These bookings are at our discretion. We do not accept bookings for Hen and Stag groups at nay time.. We are not happy to accept bookings from groups who wish to make a lot of noise or drink excessively!!
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TIMES: On the day of arrival the accommodation is free from 3:00pm onwards. We cannot guarantee occupancy before that time. Departing visitors are requested to vacate the accommodation before 10.00hrs on the morning of departure. Please adhere to this time because of our cleaning schedule. If you do not intend to arrive before 2100hrs in the evening please let us know before booking.
KEY COLLECTION: We do not live on the property. Therefore we ask clients to telephone us a few days before the holiday start date to advise us of your approximate time of arrival. On arrival in Corpach please phone us (on 01397 772467 ) for key collection and entry. (We can be at the property within 3 minutes)
BOOKINGS: To make a booking please return your completed Booking Form, or online booking with your 25% deposit / full balance and insurance payment by cheque or credit card. Your booking will not be confirmed until we receive at least your 25% deposit.
PRICES:- What is included in the price - All bed linen, duvets and tea towels are provided in the accommodation.
Personal towels are provided free of charge on 7 and 5 night bookings. There is a charge requiring personal towels for shorter stays. ELECTRICITY is not included in the price for Group Bookings. A meter reading is made on your arrival and departure. Payment is made when you leave. NO ins are needed to put into a meter box in the accommodation.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES- the washing machines & tumble dryers are on a 1 coin operated meter in the Laundry/Drying Room.

The following group types are <em>not</em> accepted by this hostel: <strong>Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party</strong> If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel.
We are a family orientetd hostel and welcome single sex groups but not stag & hen groups., nor individauls or groups who wish to abuse alchohol or any other substance, or who wish to party late into the night.
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.
General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
